Job summary

Aalco Group in Doha seeks a Site Electrical Engineer to oversee the day-to-day electrical installation on a live construction site. You will manage containment, cabling, lighting and power, and interpret shop drawings to ensure accurate execution.

Responsibilities include coordinating with site electricians, foremen and subcontractors, maintaining safety, tracking progress, and preparing reports for the project manager. You will assist testing and handover activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience supervising electrical installation on construction sites.
• Strong understanding of shop drawings and RFIs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily electrical installation works including containment, cabling, lighting, and power.
• Direct site electricians, foremen, and subcontractors to meet daily work targets.
• Interpret approved shop drawings and ensure site teams execute them accurately.
• Coordinate with QA/QC team and safety officers to maintain standards.
• Support testing and commissioning and assist with handover documentation.
