Job summary

DHL Global Forwarding in Doha, Qatar is seeking an OFR Intern to support the Customs Service team with administrative tasks, document review, and data entry for import/export clearance.

No prior professional experience is required; this internship offers hands-on learning in customs procedures and global trade processes within a leading logistics provider.

Qualifications

• Student or recent graduate pursuing a diploma, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent qualification in logistics, supply chain, business administration, international trade, customs studies, or a related field.
• No prior professional experience required; internship experience or administrative exposure is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support the Customs Service team with basic administrative and documentation tasks related to import, export, and clearance activities.
• Assist in reviewing shipment documents for completeness, such as invoices, packing lists, certificates, permits, and other clearance-related records.
• Help with data entry, document filing, system updates, and maintaining accurate shipment records under supervision.
• Coordinate internally with customs service colleagues to follow up on pending documents, approvals, and routine clearance requirements.
• Support preparation of simple reports, trackers, and status updates for internal use.
• Learn and follow standard customs clearance procedures, compliance requirements, and company guidelines.
• Escalate any missing information, discrepancies, or unclear documentation to the assigned supervisor or team member.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling customer, shipment, and customs-related information.

In this OFR Intern position
