Location: Qatar – Site

Job summary

Saipem is seeking an Offshore Rigger for its Qatar Project, part of the Subsea Department. The role requires performing rigging tasks, scaffolding (if certified), and supporting mooring operations with a strong safety mindset.

The candidate should have ITI/technical certification and at least 3 years of offshore rigging experience, plus English communication skills. Location is Qatar – site, with a temporary project-based contract and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Education: ITI / Technical Certificate or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as Offshore Rigger, operating pipeline pre-commissioning equipment offshore/onshore.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Hands-on experience with listed equipment and ability to read and follow technical instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform rigging works in line with safety and quality requirements.
• Construct scaffolding structures as instructed by supervisor (if certified).
• Operate forklift as certified and needed on site.
• Follow daily instructions from Deck Foreman or Rigging Foreman.
• Ensure rigging works meet applicable standards and report anomalies to supervisors.
• Coordinate with adjacent works to minimize coactivity and maintain safety.
• Follow Permit-to-Work procedure and keep work area tidy.
• Support marine operations during mooring activities when required.
