Location: Qatar – Site

Job summary

Saipem is seeking a Rigger Foreman for the Qatar Project. You will supervise riggers, ensure safe rigging and de-rigging, and coordinate certification and lifting gear on offshore/onshore sites.

Requirements include ITI/Technical Certificate, 3+ years as Rigger Foreman, and strong English communication. On-site role in Qatar with a temporary project-based contract and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as Rigger Foreman, offshore/onshore pipeline pre-commissioning.
• ITI / Technical Certificate or equivalent.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Physically fit for onshore site conditions; strong teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the work of riggers.
• Ensure that all rigging and de-rigging operations are performed safely.
• If certified, coordinate erection of scaffolding structures.
• Keep rigging items properly stored and maintain a clean work area.
• Ensure certification is available for rigging/lifting arrangements.
• Monitor condition of lifting gear before, during and after use.
• Provide toolbox talks at shift start and perform JSA when required.
• Support maritime team during mooring/unmooring of vessels and barges.
• Report unsafe conditions, incidents and near-miss events.
