Job summary

Orion Group is seeking an experienced Piping & Structure Supervisor for offshore Qatar operations on a 28 days on / 28 days off pattern. The role focuses on coordinating Brownfield, Shutdown and Hook-Up activities, ensuring compliance with safety, quality and asset integrity, and supporting efficient offshore execution and commissioning.

The successful candidate will manage multiple contractors, review engineering deliverables, and drive safety improvements while coordinating with Operations,

Qualifications

• Minimum High National Diploma or equivalent qualification.
• 8+ years of experience in large Oil & Gas projects in construction-related disciplines.
• Experience with offshore Brownfield, Hook-Up and commissioning activities.
• Knowledge of offshore facilities, structures and operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate offshore Brownfield, Shutdown and Hook-Up execution including commissioning.
• Supervise Contractor and Subcontractor activities related to Brownfield, Hook-Up and Mechanical Completion.
• Ensure activities comply with contractual requirements and safety standards.
• Review constructability and technical compliance of engineering deliverables.
• Monitor issues, deviations and execution risks and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate PTW with Operations and Contractors and ensure Method Statements and JSAs are followed.
• Participate in daily safety and coordination meetings during offshore execution.
• Communicate progress and interfaces with stakeholders and report status.
