Job description
Objective: The primary objective of the Nurse position is to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of patients throughout their care journey. The Nurse will collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, while adhering to clinical protocols, safety standards, and ethical guidelines. The role requires the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, demonstrate strong communication skills, and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of healthcare delivery in alignment with the hospital’s mission and values.

Role And Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, and implement nursing care based on patient needs.
  • Conduct patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs monitoring.
  • Provide pre- and post-operative care, following physicians’ orders and treatment plans.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report concerns to medical personnel.
  • Triage patients and prioritize care based on their health conditions.
  • Ensure a safe, clean, and infection-controlled environment in adherence to protocols.
  • Educate patients and families on treatment plans, health conditions, and self-care techniques.
  • Provide health education on preventive care, chronic disease management, and wellness strategies.
  • Offer emotional support to patients and relatives, ensuring compassionate communication.
  • Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Supervise and mentor junior nursing staff, assisting with workload management.
  • Maintain cooperative relationships within healthcare teams through effective communication.
  • Report issues to higher management following appropriate communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, Qatar’s MOPH regulations, and professional standards.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in clinical decision-making and problem-solving.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical medical practices.
  • Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance nursing skills and stay updated.
  • Attend workshops, training, and professional development programs to improve competency.
  • Perform delegated activities such as medication administration, treatments, and interventions within the scope of professional practice.
  • Carry out preventative, restorative, palliative, and health-promoting interventions.
  • Contribute to team efforts by completing assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatar’s MOPH regulations, policies, and professional standards.
  • Participate in continuous professional development (CPD) to enhance nursing skills and stay updated.
  • Any other task as assigned by management on a time-to-time basis as per the organization's needs.

Minimum Qualification Requirement

  • Bachelor degree in Nursing (BSN) .
  • Three (3) Years of Nursing diploma after completion of high school ( 12 years ).
  • Associate degree in Nursing recognized by country of current License for Registered General Nurse (RGN) license
  • Post Diploma Bachelor degree in nursing or field relevant to health related studies.

License Requirement

  • Valid Qatar DHP License / Home Country License, Dataflow Verification Report and Qatar Prometric.

Experience Requirement

  • Two years (2) of clinical experience in any field of nursing after registration/licensing as registered general nurse.

Age

  • 21 years to 35 Years.
