Job description

Perform the day-to-day activities of the Laboratory Section to best fit the department's multiple demands, in compliance with the requirements of policies and standards, and in line with the quality management system and internal customers’ requirements to monitor plant production.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Receive and log-in samples according to the testing schedule and carry out the necessary analytical tests according to written procedures.
  2. Perform batch grade PE products, shipment analysis, and CTO sample.
  3. Enter test results in LIMS and inform the production team immediately of non-conforming or abnormal results.
  4. Assist the Senior Laboratory testers to mitigate and resolve the identified out of control process, ensuring control of non-conforming Laboratory work.

Minimum Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Polymers Science, or any related discipline.
  2. 3-5 years of experience in the O&G Industry, including 1-2 years at a Lab Assistant level or 3 years of experience in Polymer industries.
  3. Specific experience in HDPE or LDPE Polyethylene laboratory equipment, such as OCS, XRF, melt indexers, compression molding machines, GPC, HPLC, blown film extruder, cast film extruder, and PE film grade testing.
