Job summary

Anantara Hotels & Resorts in Banana Island Resort Doha By Anantara seeks a meticulous Night Auditor to manage the overnight financial close. You will review, balance, and reconcile revenue and payment transactions across rooms, F&B, spa, and other outlets, ensuring accuracy and adherence to internal controls.

You will prepare end-of-day reports, coordinate with front office and F&B teams, reconcile POS and GL postings, and communicate discrepancies to management for timely resolution.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and completeness of all financial transactions processed during the hotel’s overnight period.
• Performing the nightly audit by reviewing, balancing, and reconciling all revenue and payment transactions from rooms, F&B, banquets, spa, Recreation, Adventure Park and other revenue centres.
• Verifying room rates, postings, allowances, adjustments, paid outs, and rebates, ensuring compliance with approved policies and authorizations.
• Balancing cash, credit card transactions, city ledger accounts, and accounts receivable postings; identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies.
• Preparing and distributing detailed end-of-day and night audit reports, including revenue reports, trial balances, and reconciliation reports; ensuring secure records and timely rollover to the next business day.
• Coordinating with Front Office, F&B, and other departments for revenue clarifications.
• Reconciliating POS reports, guest ledger, deposit ledger, AR ledger and interface reports with GL entries monthly.
• Verifying and reporting any irregular or questionable financial activities daily; completing tasks assigned by the Senior Income Auditor on time.
• Spot checks of all outlets and cashiers weekly; month-end reconciliation of revenues, payables, and ledgers including staff tips & incentives.
