The Night Auditor will be responsible for overseeing the nightly operations of the hotel ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all financial transactions This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills to interact with guests and other team members The ideal candidate should have previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping as well as a strong understanding of hotel operations

Key Responsibilities

• Perform front desk duties including check-in check-out and answering guest inquiries
• Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and according to hotel policies
• Reconcile daily cash receipts and prepare reports for management
• Assist with night audit procedures including balancing accounts and verifying room rates
• Respond to guest complaints or concerns in a professional manner
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations throughout the hotel

Requirements

• Previous experience in accounting or bookkeeping preferred
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of hotel operations and reservation systems
• Ability to work overnight shifts as needed
• Fluency in English is required
