Job summary

NextWave Publications in Doha is seeking a detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our hospitality team. The role focuses on ensuring accurate financial records for nightly operations and providing courteous guest service during check-in and check-out.

The ideal candidate has strong math skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently through night shifts, weekends, and holidays; prior hotel accounting or auditing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred in accounting/finance/hospitality management.
• Previous experience as Night Auditor or similar role preferred.
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Record and balance daily financial transactions including room charges, taxes, and fees.
• Audit hotel operating departments for policy compliance.
• Resolve discrepancies promptly and accurately.
• Assist guests during check-in and check-out, including luggage.

Job description

A luxury hotel in Doha is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Night Auditor to join our team As a Night Auditor you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all financial transactions that occur during the night shift You will also be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests during check-in and check-out processes

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record and balance daily financial transactions including room charges taxes and other fees
• Conduct audits of all hotel operating departments to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
• Resolve any discrepancies or errors in a timely manner
• Provide exceptional customer service to guests during check-incheck-out processes including assisting with luggage and answering any questions or concerns
• Prepare reports summarizing daily operations and financial transactions
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations throughout the night shift
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent degree in accounting finance or hospitality management preferred
• Previous experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role preferred
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Excel Word and Outlook
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to work overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
