Job summary

Military Medical City Hospital (MMCH) in Qatar seeks a qualified Specialist Neurologist to join our clinical team. You will provide expert assessment, diagnosis and management of adult neurological disorders in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including stroke, epilepsy and movement disorders, within a multidisciplinary environment.

Applicants must hold a medical degree, a recognized neurology specialty, at least 3 years post‑specialty experience, and be eligible for Qatar DHP specialist

Qualifications

• Medical degree from a recognized institution.
• Recognized postgraduate neurology qualification/board certification.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant post-specialty experience.
• Eligible for Specialist licensing with Qatar's DHP.
• Fluency in English; Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of adult neurological conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Manage stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases and multiple sclerosis.
• Participate in multidisciplinary patient management and neurological consultations.
• Participate in departmental on-call rota as required.
• Ensure accurate clinical documentation and adherence to hospital policies and quality standards.
• Contribute to clinical governance, patient safety, education and continuous improvement initiatives.
