Job Description

VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for a Network Security Engineer for our Qatar operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:

Responsibilities

• Experience in implementation, configuring, troubleshooting and monitoring of all network security devices within a bank, which includes:
• Bluecoat Proxy and CAS
• Ironport SPAM Gateways
• Tipping Point Intrusion Prevention System
• SonicWall SSL VPN
• Cisco Wireless Devices
• Trend Micro OfficeScan Antivirus Solution
• Design, implement and manage enterprise-wide multi-tiered, secure and high-availability infrastructure based on the bank's IS policy
• Daily monitoring and housekeeping of the Network Security Devices and support for any network security related issues around the clock
• Remain proficient in the support scope of the Network Security Environment
• Maintain service guidelines as outlined
• Extend support for internal and external audits
• Take configuration backups of network security devices
• Coordinate with vendors to get level 2 and 3 support in case of critical situations
• Perform daily routine activities
• Coordinate with internal IT and application support teams to facilitate their requirements on a timely basis

Qualifications and Certifications

• Bachelor in Engineering or Computer Sciences
• Core experience of 6 years in Network Security
• Cisco ASA and Check Point Firewall experience is a must
• Valid CCSP/CCNP Security is a must
• CCSE and CISSP is preferred
• At least 3 years of post CCSP/CCNP Security experience
• Must have enterprise-level Network Security implementation and support experience
