BaseForce in Al Rayyan, Qatar is seeking a Long Haul Truck Driver to transport goods across long distances. You will operate heavy-duty trucks, comply with regulations, and ensure timely deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Transport goods and materials over long distances following routes and schedules.
• Operate heavy-duty trucks including semi-trailers, flatbeds and tankers.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues before and after trips.
• Report any malfunctions or damages to the truck to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies on the road.
• Adhere to safety procedures to ensure safe delivery of goods.
• Maintain accurate logbooks of driving activities (routes, fuel, rest periods).
• Communicate with dispatchers to update delivery status and issues.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment.
• Keep track of inventory for each delivery to ensure accuracy.

As a Long Haul Truck Driver you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across long distances typically between cities or even countries You will operate heavy-duty trucks and follow transportation regulations and safety procedures to ensure the safe and timely delivery of goods This position requires a valid commercial drivers license CDL and experience in driving large trucks You should also have a clean driving record and excellent time-management skills
