Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Full-time on-site Munitions Technician in Qatar to receive, store, inspect, test, transport and maintain USAF munitions, MMHE and related resources at the Site. You will operate TICMS and support daily operations with a focus on safety and quality.

The role requires physical capability, ability to work outdoors, and travel as needed, with opportunities for career growth and exposure to U.S. Air Force standards and host nation regulations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have completed USAF Munitions Systems training or US service equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Must have basic knowledge of USAF Supply and Tech Order systems.

Responsibilities

• Consistently enforces USAF and host nation safety, AFOSH and security standards during all explosives and non-explosives operations.
• Prepares and configures munitions shipments for air, sea and surface transportation.
• Operates TICMS and munitions handling equipment.
• Inspects and performs maintenance on munitions, containers and related equipment.
• Conducts warehouse inventories and resolves discrepancies.
• Crew Chiefs duties: provide clear instructions to assigned crew members.
• Prepares and delivers general and explosives safety briefings.
