Job summary

Amentum seeks a Senior Munitions Inspector in Doha to serve as the technical expert for the USAF Munitions Surveillance Program, managing MSP and inspector certifications. You will perform surveillance inspections of munitions, determine serviceability, hazards and deterioration, and ensure TICMS reflects stockpile accuracy.

The role enforces USAF/host-nation safety standards, prepares briefings, and travels domestically and internationally as required to support mission objectives.

Qualifications

• Must have intermediate level knowledge of the USAF Supply and Tech Order systems or US Service equivalent.
• Must have intermediate level knowledge of current MIS applicable to PGM activities.
• Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and Windows Operating System and Microsoft Office to include Power Point, Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Manages MSP per DAFMAN 21-201 including training, certification and evaluations of Munitions Inspectors.
• Advises the Munitions Superintendent on MSP aspects and recommended actions.
• Monitors surveillance actions to avert negative trends and ensures accuracy of TICMS data.
• Inspects munitions and containers per directives and ensures compliance with safety standards.
• Conducts munitions storage warehousing actions per explosives standards.
• Documents serviceability and accountability actions promptly and accurately.
• Coordinates with accountability and MASO to resolve discrepancies and oversee stockpile integrity.
