A humanitarian organization in Doha is seeking a Multimedia Designer to create engaging animated visual content and innovative concepts. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in producing high-quality visual content. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and a passion for humanitarian work are essential. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful storytelling through multimedia.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Creating engaging animated visual content, including short videos, animated infographics, and digital advertisements, to enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
Developing innovative and visually compelling concepts that align with the organization’s humanitarian values and campaign objectives.
Working closely with production, content, and communications teams to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality multimedia outputs that meet strategic goals.
Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Animation, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in producing animated visual content, short videos, infographics, and digital media assets.
Proven track record of delivering high-quality visual content for marketing, social media, and organizational campaigns—preferably in a humanitarian, non-profit, or agency setting.
Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly:
After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Animate (for motion graphics and video editing)
Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign (for static visual design)
Experience with storyboarding, video scripting, and animation techniques.
Familiarity with audio editing tools and basic knowledge of video production workflows.
Strong ability to develop creative concepts that align with brand identity and mission-driven storytelling.
Ability to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging visual content for diverse audiences.
Keen eye for detail, design aesthetics, and visual trends.
Excellent communication skills and experience working in cross-functional teams, including content writers, marketers, and video producers.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Deep understanding of or genuine interest in humanitarian work, global development, or non-profit communications.
Experience working in international or culturally diverse teams is a plus.
