Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Millwright/Mechanical Maintenance Technician for full-time, on-site work in heavy industrial settings such as Direct Reduction plants. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience, proficiency in installation, alignment and maintenance of mechanical equipment, and familiarity with rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps and conveyors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Millwright or mechanical maintenance technician.
• Direct Reduction (DR) plants / steel/heavy industrial environments preferred.
• Skilled in installation, alignment, maintenance & repair of mechanical equipment.
• Experience with rotating equipment, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors & mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of bearing replacement, shaft alignment, lubrication & mechanical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, equipment manuals & maintenance procedures.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems preferred.
