Job summary

FutureHire in Lusail, Qatar is seeking a dynamic Merchandiser Assistant to support the Merchandiser in planning and implementing visual merchandising strategies that increase sales and improve the customer experience.

You will create attractive product displays, monitor inventory, assist with setup of new displays, visit stores, and collaborate with marketing on promotions while training new staff and staying current with industry trends.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail or visual merchandising.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of retail math and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Merchandiser to create visually appealing displays.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate discrepancies.
• Assist with setting up new product displays aligned with branding.
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure displays are properly displayed and priced.
• Assist with store layout changes for optimal space usage.
• Track sales data and provide insights for merchandising decisions.
• Collaborate with marketing on promotional materials for new products or events.
• Assist in training new store employees on visual merchandising standards.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors’ merchandising strategies.

We are a fast-growing retail company in Lusail and we are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Merchandiser Assistant to join our team In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Merchandiser in planning and implementing visual merchandising strategies to increase sales and enhance the overall customer experience

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Merchandiser to create visually appealing displays that showcase our products in an attractive and organized manner
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or needs to the Merchandiser
• Assist with setting up new product displays ensuring they are in line with company branding and standards
• Conduct regular store visits to ensure all merchandise is properly displayed and priced
• Assist with store layout changes ensuring optimal use of space and product placement
• Keep track of sales data and provide insights to the Merchandiser for future merchandising decisions
• Collaborate with other departments such as marketing to develop promotional materials for new products or sales events
• Assist with training new store employees on visual merchandising standards and techniques
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors visual merchandising strategies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent college degree in fashion merchandising or related field preferred
• 1+ years of experience in retail or visual merchandising
• Fluent in English knowledge of Arabic is a plus but not required
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
• Basic knowledge of retail math and inventory management
• Proficiency in MS Office applications experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus

Salary

Starting salary of $1600 per month negotiable based on experience
