Responsibilities

• Drive and operate tanker, bus, and other heavy vehicles as assigned.
• Ensure safety standards and SOPs are followed.
• Load and unload cargo; maintain vehicle cleanliness.
• Keep licenses, permits, and insurance up to date.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of goods.
• Follow traffic signals and coordinate with yard operations.

Objectives: Drive and operate Tanker / Bus etc. Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times. General organizing and cleaning of the vehicle inside & outside and Yard parking area. Adherence to strict safety standards established by the Company.

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring compliance with the safety standards and transportation department SOPs.
• With Third party Training certificate in Safe Driving.
• Must hold a Qatar Driving License and certificate of competence and previous experience in Oil & Gas / Logistic / Transportation sectors
• Must have Five (05) years’ experience in driving of heavy equipment trailer / truck / Tanker or of the similar capacity specified in contract.
• Medium / Tanker drivers are responsible for loading and unloading tanker trucks with the cargo they are transporting, which can include liquid or gas materials.
• Medium / Tanker drivers may be responsible for transporting hazardous materials such as chemicals, petroleum products, or gases, so they must have knowledge of safety Procedures and regulations related to hazardous materials transportation.
• Medium / Tanker drivers must have experience and training in operating tanker trucks and must adhere to all traffic and safety regulations.
• Medium / Tanker drivers are responsible for inspecting their trucks before and after each trip to ensure they are in good condition and meet all safety requirements.
• Tanker drivers must keep all necessary documentation, including licenses, permits, and insurance information, up to date and readily available.
• Ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods.
• Should be fully conversant with recognized traffic signals and ensure that all riggers are familiar with the signals that shall be used.
• Immediately stop the trailer if it became unsafe to continue the trip.
• Must have minimum secondary level of education.
• Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions in the Safe Driving
• Tanker drivers must follow safety protocols when transporting hazardous materials , including wearing appropriate safety equipment and following emergency procedures in the event of an accident or spill.
• Tanker drivers must maintain the cleanliness of their trucks and ensure that any spills or leaks are cleaned up promptly.
• Should be fully conversant with recognized traffic and other safety signals.
