Job summary

KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) is seeking a Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance and troubleshooting in continuous operation plants. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance of pumps, valves, vessels, and other static equipment, with a strong focus on safety and quality.

Ideal candidates hold a Technical Diploma in the trade with at least five years of hands-on Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer experience, and can read isometrics and drawings, following SOPs and

Qualifications

• Technical diploma in trade with 12+3 years education.
• 5 years relevant hands-on experience in Oil & Gas/Petrochemical/Fertilizer industries.

Responsibilities

• Mechanical maintenance and troubleshooting in continuous operation plants.
• Installation, removal and reinstallation of pumps, blowers, valves, vessels, columns, exchangers, pipes and other static equipment.
• Carry out maintenance activities independently and work at heights with proper safety gear.
• Maintain rotating equipment and perform routine maintenance tasks.
• Check work quality and take corrective actions per standards and procedures.
• Interpret isometrics, mechanical drawings and datasheets.
• Clean, preserve and maintain removed parts of equipment.
• Maintain a good HSEQ record and ensure compliance with SOPs/Work Instructions.
• Read, understand, and execute jobs per SOP/WO.
