Job summary

ConFlip is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Doha team. The ideal candidate will design, build and maintain mechanical systems and components, with a focus on industrial applications.

This full-time role offers a monthly salary of 1000 QAR and welcomes foreign applicants. Responsibilities include designing machinery, evaluating systems, creating detailed manufacturing plans, maintaining machinery through servicing, testing new designs, and producing CAD blueprints while estimating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer within the industrial sector.
• Working knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Pro/Engineer etc.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, diagrams etc.
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Good interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Designing and constructing machinery, equipment and components for use in industrial settings
• Evaluating existing systems to identify areas of improvement
• Developing detailed plans and diagrams to support manufacturing operations
• Maintaining current models of machinery by performing regular servicing and repairs
• Testing new designs and components to ensure they meet performance requirements
• Utilizing CAD software to create blueprints for projects
• Preparing cost estimates for materials and labor associated with projects
• Keeping up with advances in technology in order to maintain a competitive edge
