Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 3+ years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
• Advanced knowledge of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferable).
• Proven ability to design complex mechanical systems from concept through prototype completion.
• Excellent problem solving skills and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering designs for mechanical systems using CAD tools.
• Analyze mechanical components using finite element analysis.
• Design experiments and analyze results to evaluate project performance.
• Monitor projects from conception through completion.
• Prepare technical reports as required by customers.
• Research new technologies that could be incorporated into designs.
• Assist with prototyping activities as needed.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.
