Job summary

A tech company is seeking an MDM Engineer to provide on-site support for device management across 14 service centers in Doha. This role involves troubleshooting, monitoring, and resolving endpoint issues while efficiently communicating technical concerns to various audiences. Ideal candidates will possess strong skills in documentation and coordination, along with relevant certifications, particularly in scripting. Qualifications

  • Monitor and manage devices through the centralized ManageEngine Endpoint central console.
  • Visit service centers to resolve local endpoint issues and ensure proper device functioning.
  • Diagnose and resolve MDM-related issues promptly and escalate complex cases when needed.

Title: MDM Engineer

Duration: 4 months

Employment Type: Contract (On the Payroll of MSI)

Working Hours

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM / 6 Days

Travel across 14 service centers to provide on-site monitoring, issue resolution, and ensure

centralized console control from a single pane of management.

Required Qualifications

•Solid troubleshooting abilities with Windows (and ideally macOS/mobile OS)

endpoints.

•Comfortable performing field visits and resolving issues in distributed

environments.

•Strong documentation and reporting skills; ability to articulate technical issues to

non- technical audiences.

•Self-motivated, able to work independently with limited oversight.

•Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities

•Endpoint Central Administration & Monitoring

oMonitor and manage device through the centralized ManageEngine Endpoint central console.

•Travel & On-site Support

oVisit each of the 14 service centers proactively or upon escalation to resolve local endpoint

issues and ensure proper device functioning.

•Issue Resolution & Escalation

oDiagnose and resolve MDM-related issues promptly, such as device non- compliance, enrollment

failures, or deployment errors; escalate complex cases to senior administrators or vendor support

when needed.

•Central Console Operations (Optional)

oImplement changes, update configurations, deploy apps/patches, and manage profiles/policies

remotely via the Endpoint Central console.

•Documentation & Reporting

oGenerate operational and compliance reports for device status, security posture, and performance

trends.

Desired Qualifications

•Certifications: Scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python).

•Previous experience in a multi-site or automotive environment.

•Familiarity with MDM concepts such as profile management, containerization, secure

content & email management.
