A leading engineering services provider in Qatar is seeking a Materials Engineering Head to oversee EPC materials engineering processes including procurement and installation. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and at least 12 years of relevant experience, particularly in LNG and sour gas materials. The role demands strong leadership skills and the ability to manage technical requirements to meet project specifications while ensuring effective collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• 12 years experience as a Senior Materials Engineer with broad knowledge of engineering execution.
• LNG and sour gas materials selection and corrosion management experience is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee EPC Materials Engineering across detailed design and procurement.
• Ensure technical requirements comply with project specifications.
• Collaborate effectively to consider the full production life cycle.

Skills

Excellent written and oral English skills

Strong organisational, planning and coordination skills

Strong technical, prioritisation and management skills

Good communication, influencing and interface skills

Strong technical knowledge of corrosion calculation

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Education
