Salary: 1100 QAR/month

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Mason to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out masonry work such as laying bricks and stone block to construct or repair walls, foundations, arches, and other structures.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work according to drawings or blueprints.
• Cut and shape bricks and stones as required.
• Mix mortar according to specification.
• Install structures or fixtures such as windows, doors, walls or other frames.
• Construct walkways and pathways with appropriate materials.
• Ensure that all work is built in accordance with engineering codes and safety regulations.
• Monitor progress of project and adjust schedule accordingly.
• Assist in other related tasks when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; however we are willing to consider a foreigner for this position regardless of educational background.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in masonry construction is required; however we are willing to consider less experienced candidates if they demonstrate high levels of aptitude and skill in masonry trades.
• Ability to read blueprints is essential; knowledge of relevant engineering codes a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills required.
