Job summary

Want More in Doha, Qatar is seeking a skilled Mason to join our construction team. The successful candidate will lay bricks, blocks, stone and other masonry materials for buildings, walls, walkways and other structures.

Experience reading blueprints, safe work practices, and basic math are required. The role involves mixing mortar, installing rebar, preparing surfaces, cutting brick, and ensuring quality and safety on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mason or similar role.
• Knowledge of safe construction practices and building codes.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Basic math skills.
• Good attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lay bricks, blocks, stone, and other masonry materials according to plans and instructions
• Mix mortar to the required consistency
• Install reinforcement bars (rebar) according to specifications
• Prepare surfaces prior to laying masonry materials
• Cut brick and block as required
• Construct retaining walls
• Monitor quality of workmanship throughout the project
• Follow safety regulations at all times.
