Job summary

PPOAR in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Mason to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of masonry work related to the construction, renovation and repair of stone and brick structures.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of masonry experience, is physically fit, and possesses sound knowledge of masonry tools and techniques. Proficiency in English is essential for communication with the team; immigrant applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of masonry experience required.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting.
• Sound knowledge of masonry tools and techniques.
• Excellent communication in English required for team coordination.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out masonry work according to design plans
• Cutting and shaping stones and bricks according to specifications
• Setting out walls, columns, arches or other structures as directed
• Mixing mortar and grouting material accurately
• Laying bricks, blocks or stone in rows or courses with accuracy
• Sealing joints between walls, columns and floors with mortar or cement-based grouts
• Inspecting structures for defects after completion
• Cleaning up after job completion
