Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Qatar is seeking an experienced Mason to join our on-site team. You will carry out brick, block, stone, and concrete masonry works according to drawings and specifications, and you will construct and repair walls, foundations, floors, and other masonry structures.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of relevant experience, and is able to read basic drawings, measure and align materials, and work safely following site PPE rules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of masonry experience.
• Experience in brickwork, blockwork, plastering, and concrete repair.
• Ability to read basic drawings, measurements, and levels.
• Knowledge of mortar preparation and finishing techniques.

Responsibilities

• Carry out brick, block, stone, and concrete masonry as per drawings.
• Construct and repair walls, partitions, foundations, floors.
• Prepare and apply mortar, concrete, plaster, and related materials.
• Plaster, screed, tile fixing, grouting, and finishing as required.
• Measure, cut, and align bricks, blocks, tiles and other materials.
• Repair damaged masonry and concrete surfaces.
• Use masonry tools safely and maintain them.
• Follow HSE procedures and PPE requirements.

Madre Integrated Engineering | Full time

• Carry out brick, block, stone, and concrete masonry works according to drawings and specifications.
• Construct and repair walls, partitions, foundations, floors, and other masonry structures.
• Prepare and apply cement mortar, concrete, plaster, and other construction materials.
• Perform plastering, screeding, tile fixing, grouting, and surface finishing as required.
• Measure, cut, shape, and align bricks, blocks, tiles, and other materials accurately.
• Repair damaged masonry, cracks, concrete surfaces, and structural finishes.
• Use masonry tools and equipment safely and maintain them in good working condition.
• Follow site HSE procedures, PPE requirements, and supervisor instructions.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience as a Mason, preferably in construction, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Good experience in brickwork, blockwork, plastering, concrete repair, screeding, and finishing works.
• Ability to read basic construction drawings, measurements, levels, and specifications.
• Knowledge of mortar preparation, concrete mixing, alignment, leveling, and finishing techniques.
• Ability to use hand and power tools related to masonry work.
• Physically fit and capable of working in demanding site conditions.
• Good understanding of construction safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Immediate joiners with a valid QID are preferred.
