Zusammenfassung

MILAHA in Qatar seeks a Marine HVAC Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems onboard vessels in our shipyard. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance and ensure compliance with safety standards.

We require 2–3 years of experience in HVAC/electrical trades, shipyard experience preferred; a High School/ITI in electrical or HVAC is required; basic English is expected.

Qualifikationen

• High School or Secondary School, ITI certificate or similar in electrical or HVAC trade.
• 2-3 years' experience in a similar trade; Shipyard experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning, refrigeration and ventilation equipment onboard vessels
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of marine HVAC equipment and associated electrical and mechanical components
• Inspect, test and repair HVAC electrical control panels, motors, compressors, fans, pumps, thermostats, sensors and associated control systems
• Troubleshoot and rectify electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Inspect and maintain ventilation systems, including exhaust fans, blowers, ducting and associated electrical controls
• Ensure HVAC installation, maintenance and repair activities comply with marine standards and shipyard safety procedures
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
