Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic for full-time roles in the marine operations sector in Doha, Qatar. You will inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain excavators, forklifts, loaders, cranes, generators, and other equipment, ensuring compliance with schedules and safety standards.

The role requires 3–5 years of marine heavy equipment experience, knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulic systems, and an ITI or diploma in Mechanical or Heavy Equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of heavy equipment mechanic experience in marine projects.
• Experience in shipyards, ports, barges, marine terminals, or similar environments.
• Good knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, and heavy equipment maintenance.
• Able to troubleshoot and repair construction and material-handling equipment.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance, breakdown repair, and equipment inspection.
• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Heavy Equipment Maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy marine equipment.
• Maintain excavators, forklifts, loaders, cranes, generators, and compressors.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance per schedules and manufacturer recommendations.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical faults.
• Follow PTW, LOTO, housekeeping, and marine HSE procedures.
