Job summary

A leading marine services company in Doha is seeking an experienced marine electrical engineer. Responsibilities include installation and maintenance of marine systems, leading maintenance programs for luxury yachts, and supervising technical teams. Candidates should have over 10 years of experience in marine electrical engineering and strong troubleshooting skills. Fluency in English is required, and knowledge of Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in marine electrical engineering, preferably in luxury yacht maintenance and service.
• Hands-on experience with various marine systems is essential.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and maintain advanced marine electrical and mechanical systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair navigation systems, marine generators, hydraulics, stabilizers, water makers, A/C, and refrigeration systems.
• Lead preventive maintenance programs for luxury yachts and other marine projects.
• Supervise and train technical teams to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Coordinate with classification societies and ensure compliance with marine standards.

Skills

• Diploma / Degree in Electrical Engineering (Marine specialization preferred).
• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in marine electrical engineering, preferably in luxury yacht maintenance and service.
• Hands-on experience with Raymarine, Furuno, Garmin, Kohler, Fischer Panda, and other marine systems.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work independently under pressure.
• Excellent communication in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Valid GCC or International Driving License is an advantage.
