About the role:

Manage the planning, development, and delivery of Hamad International Airport’s B2B and B2C sponsorships and partnerships to enhance brand visibility, stakeholder engagement, and commercial value. Develop and apply frameworks for selecting, activating, and measuring initiatives, ensuring alignment with Qatar Airways Group and its subsidiaries.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Develop sponsorship and partnership evaluation frameworks and relevant KPIs, in alignment with the Head of Events and Sponsorships, to ensure opportunities meet brand, commercial, and Group-wide alignment criteria.
  • Contribute to the sponsorship and partnership strategy by identifying market trends, competitor activity, and new opportunities across relevant sectors, such as and not limited to aviation, sports and entertainment sectors.
  • Develop partnership and sponsorship models and tiers to maximise long-term value and ensure integration with Group-level sponsorship and partnership activities.
  • Develop and support governance processes by applying prioritization criteria, ROI analysis, implementation guidelines and brand alignment checks to all potential sponsorships and partnerships.
  • Ensure all initiatives complement the wider Qatar Airways Group and subsidiary strategies, avoiding duplication and leveraging synergies for greater impact.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of approved sponsorships and partnerships, coordinating with internal teams, Group entities, and external partners to ensure contractual obligations, brand guidelines, and activation standards are met.
  • Manage the development, approval, production, and delivery of all sponsorship and partnership assets to ensure timely and high-quality execution.
  • Integrate sponsorship and partnership activations into broader airport initiatives by collaborating with all internal departments, external stakeholders, contractors, suppliers and Qatar Airways Group subsidiaries.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Manage sponsorship and partnership terms negotiations to maximize the value for Hamad International Airport and ensure optimal ROI.
  • Identify sponsorship upsell opportunities and partnership extensions to increase value for Hamad International Airport and its partners, working within approved commercial parameters.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with sponsors, partners, and key stakeholders through regular engagement, performance reviews, and mutually beneficial planning.
  • Track and report performance against defined KPIs, preparing post-activation evaluations to assess financial return, audience reach, engagement, and partner satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain governance, processes and reporting frameworks for venue hire and filming requests to ensure transparency, compliance, and alignment with HIA’s brand and operational policies.
  • Manage external requests for venue hire and filming within the airport environment, in collaboration with Protocol, ensuring all requests meet governance requirements, commercial viability, and brand standards.
  • Provide the Head of Events and Sponsorships with monthly, quarterly and annual sponsorship and partnership performance updates to support decision-making and strategy refinement.
  • Identify upselling opportunities and partnership extensions to increase value for Hamad International Airport and its partners, working within approved commercial parameters.
  • Ensure compliance with governance frameworks, contractual terms, and regulatory requirements across all activities and agreements.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent.
