Job description

Minimum Requirements:

1. Preferred education in Nursing Degree Diploma after High School
2. Minimum 3 years experience
3. Required certification / licensure; valid Nursing license from the country of origin
4. Proven experience as a Registered General Nurse
5. Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the process which ensures that patient care is delivered in accordance with established policies and procedures and nursing standards.
2. Provide education to staff based on theoretical and clinical expertise.
3. This position will be accountable to ensure clinical resource and continuity of patient care during her/his duty hours.
4. Provide direct patient care and serve as clinical resources.
5. Maintain and demonstrate clinical competence in all aspects of care provided.
6. Act as a clinical resource in assessing complex patient care needs and in determining appropriate interventions, recommending alternative approaches.
7. Utilize critical thinking when making clinical judgments, managing conflicts, and solving patient care issues.
8. Assess and reassess patient needs and response to care, treatment, and education.
9. Provide care according to the plan of care.
10. Anticipate, recognize, and manage emergent and unsafe situations/practices and initiate appropriate interventions.
11. Demonstrate knowledge of legal aspects of patient care and nursing practice.
12. Actively communicate the care of the patient through communication and written documentation to all disciplines involved in patient care.
