Job summary

Qatar Airways Group in Doha, Qatar is seeking a Licensed Aircraft Engineer Level I Heavy Maintenance B2 to support heavy maintenance activities and ensure safe, compliant operations in line with company standards.

The role requires solid leadership, hands-on maintenance expertise, and the ability to mentor technicians while delivering high dispatch reliability for Qatar Airways' fleet.

Applicants should hold a current ICAO or QCAA license and be prepared to work on site at Doha.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute assigned heavy maintenance activities efficiently in line with Qatar Airways procedures.
• Operate equipment and use appropriate tooling to complete maintenance tasks safely and effectively.
• Review work procedures and standards and propose improvements to enhance maintenance effectiveness.
• Provide final release of work completed by mechanics, ensuring compliance with company and customer standards.
• Maintain dispatch reliability and acceptable levels of deferred defects.
• Ensure aircraft maintenance tasks meet approved policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Implement technical solutions within authorized scope to maintain aircraft and component serviceability.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to technicians and aircraft mechanics.
• Supervise workmanship quality and ensure correct tools and processes are used.
• Support internal and external customers through timely and high-quality maintenance delivery.
