Job summary

Flyper in Lusail, Qatar seeks a Librarian to manage and organize library resources and deliver excellent public service. You will catalog and classify materials, assist patrons with research, and help plan community programs and events.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor\'s degree in Library Science, has at least two years of relevant experience, and demonstrates strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills in a multicultural environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of librarian experience in a similar setting.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Catalog and classify new books and materials using standard library practices.
• Maintain accurate records of the library's collection, including circulation statistics and inventory.
• Assist patrons with research inquiries, guiding use of resources.
• Develop and implement programs and services for community needs.
• Plan and host events to promote literacy and community engagement.
• Train and supervise support staff in daily tasks.
• Stay updated on trends in library science to ensure best practices.
