Job description

Charterhouse is working with an international law firm, who is currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic Legal Secretary to join their successful team.

About the Role

Based in Doha, Qatar, our client, an international law firm is looking for a pro-active Legal Secretary to provide exceptional legal support to a team of lawyers within commercial and corporate practice. The Legal Secretary will be expected to multi-task workloads, such as complex diary management, email management, scheduling meetings and handling correspondence.

The Legal Secretary must be able to perform various legal administrative duties, drafting documents, proof-reading documents, putting together PowerPoints, organising and attending meetings as well as taking minutes supporting with billings and trial bundles.

This role will include supporting reception with answering phone calls, delegating or responding to emails, as well as welcoming clients into the business and carry out any adhoc duties where required.

About You

To be considered for this role, previous experience working within a busy, corporate environment is essential. The successful candidate will have a professional and personable approach with attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills, with eagerness to grow.

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with complete IT literacy in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. Further Education in the related field is also preferred.
