Job Description

• Reporting to the Discipline Team Leader / Manager and Project Manager, the candidate will assume sole responsibility for assigned mechanical engineering work as per project scope.

Skills & Experience

• Professional Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 15+ yrs in oil and gas with major contractor or consultants.
• Perform conceptual, FEED and detailed engineering and design as per design basis, project specifications, clients specification and procedures, design codes and standards.
• Familiar with relevant design and analysis software.

Experienced in performing / preparing the following tasks / deliverables, as per project scope :

• Mechanical Data Sheet
• Equipment Specifications
• Material Requisition for Inquiry and Purchase
• TBE (Technical Bid Evaluation) and Tabulation
• VDR (Vendor Document Review)

For Static :

• Design Calculation as per applicable international standards like API 650, API 620, ASME Sec VIII div 1 and 2 Equipment GAD, Nozzle orientation drawing, detailed fabrication drawing (as applicable in scope).
• Working knowledge on SHELL DEP is preferred.
• Experience in attending progress review, design review, clarification meeting with Client.
• QatarEnergy Refinery related project execution experience is preferred.
