Employment in Ras Laffan, Qatar, seeks an experienced Construction Area Manager (Process) to lead all EPC construction activities from detailed engineering through handover to the Completion Team at Ras Laffan Industrial City.

You will ensure safe, on-schedule execution and a seamless transition into precommissioning and commissioning, driving interfaces between construction, precommissioning, and commissioning teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience on large scale projects in construction related disciplines within the Oil & Gas Industry.
• Minimum 3 years of management level experience in Construction disciplines Engineering Project Management.
• Experience with LNG facilities and sour gas facilities.
• Experience with major international EPC Contractors, subcontractors, and vendors.

Responsabilités

• Review and approve Construction Execution Plans, procedures, specifications, deliverables, and progress reporting prepared by EPC contractors.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
• Identify issues quickly, determine root causes, and develop mitigation plans.
• Ensure safe, efficient construction execution and smooth transition to commissioning.
• Coordinate with EPC Project Manager and construction teams across interfaces.
