Job summary

QatarEnergy seeks a Sr. Commissioning Engineer to lead VOR discipline teams and coordinate with project and contractor groups to ensure consistent execution of design, pre‑commissioning, commissioning, and start‑up activities. All work must align with QatarEnergy procedures and safety standards.

The role emphasizes preparing asset owners to operate and hand over assets safely, reliably, and efficiently, with emphasis on high quality and cost‑effective project delivery.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years’ experience in design, construction, commissioning and start‑up of oil & gas facilities.
• Eight years as Commissioning Coordinator/Team Leader in EPIC projects.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills.
• Multi‑discipline engineering exposure with troubleshooting and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead VOR Discipline Engineers and Technicians.
• Coordinate with QatarEnergy Project Team and Contractors.
• Ensure standardized execution of design, pre‑commissioning, commissioning and start‑up.
• Uphold safety, quality and environmental standards throughout delivery.
