Job summary

Qatar Airways Group in Qatar is seeking a Lead Cargo Strategic Partnerships Analyst to drive the creation, development and management of strategic cargo partnerships with partner airlines. You will analyze data, negotiate commercial arrangements, monitor performance, and work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and ongoing partnership growth.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of job-related experience in a corporate environment.
  • Experience in airline partnerships, strategy, network planning or other commercially focused functions.
  • Experience analysing, interpreting and presenting large datasets to support business decisions.
  • Knowledge of the global air cargo landscape is an advantage.
  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Office and Tableau.
  • Strong critical thinking, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in preparing executive level presentations and reports.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher preferably in Business, Aviation Management or related disciplines.
  • Project Management skills & certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and management of strategic cargo partnerships to drive network growth.
  • Monitor performance against KPIs and profitability targets; propose improvements.
  • Analyse data to support negotiations, rate discussions, and tonnage planning.
  • Create dashboards and reports showing partnership performance and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify network opportunities and integrate partnerships.
  • Build strong relationships with partner airlines to meet business objectives.
  • Improve partnership policies, processes, and operating procedures.
  • Coordinate tech initiatives that improve operations and customer experience.
  • Review and maintain partnership agreements, rates, and terms.
  • Elevate systemic issues and recommend corrective actions for performance.

About the Role:

We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Lead Cargo Strategic Partnerships Analyst to support the creation, development, and management of strategic cargo partnerships with partner airlines. In this role, you will help identify partnership opportunities, negotiate mutually beneficial commercial arrangements, monitor performance, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and long‑term partnership growth.

Accountabilities include, but not limited to:
  • Support the development and management of strategic cargo partnerships with partner airlines to drive network growth and commercial value.
  • Monitor partnership performance against profitability targets and defined KPIs, recommending improvement initiatives where required.
  • Analyse commercial and operational data to support partnership negotiations, rate discussions, tonnage planning, and service level management.
  • Develop management reports and dashboards to provide insights on partnership performance and business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify network opportunities and support the integration of new and existing partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner airlines to identify opportunities that support network demand and business objectives.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of partnership policies, processes, and operating procedures.
  • Coordinate process enhancements and technology initiatives that improve partnership operations and customer experience.
  • Review and maintain partnership commercial agreements, rates, terms, conditions, and business rules to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identify and elevate systemic issues impacting partnerships and recommend corrective actions to support sustainable business performance.
