Job summary

Jing Hau in Doha is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team and provide accurate survey data for clients. You will plan and execute surveys, monitor field staff, and prepare reports while analyzing data and ensuring safety.

The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and can work independently or in a team. A degree in Geomatics/Land Surveying and travel-ready credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geomatics/Land Surveying or equivalent experience.
• A valid driver’s license is essential as travel may be required.
• Experience with survey equipment, GPS/GIS systems, boundary laws and standards, cartography, mathematics, geodesy, and related software.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• planning, organizing and executing land surveys
• monitoring field activities of survey staff
• preparing reports
• analyzing and interpreting data
• ensuring safety at all times

As a Land Surveyor, you must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

• Degree in Geomatics/Land Surveying or equivalent experience.
• A valid driver’s license is essential as travel may be required.
• Extensive knowledge of survey equipment; GPS/GIS systems; boundary laws; regulations and standards; cartography; mathematics; geodesy; land description systems; engineering principles; relevant software applications and other related topics.
