Job description

The Kids Club Attendant helps in planning and implementing the daily activities for children, assists with safety, and maintains a clean and orderly room and the Kids Club.

  • Treat each child with dignity and respect.
  • Recognize and consider the individual needs of each child.
  • Check medical conditions as written in the registration form.
  • Help children learn to think creatively and respect themselves and others.
  • Open and prepare Kids Club for daily activities.
  • Be responsible for the opening and closing of the Kids Club.
  • Assist in planning and implementing the daily program for children.
  • Work to prevent injuries and accidents and handle them appropriately if they occur.
  • Dress kids as needed and change diapers.
  • Organize and store toys and materials to ensure order in the Kids Club area.
  • Sanitize toys and play equipment.
  • Interact with the children in a positive and age-appropriate manner.
  • Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed as needed within the day.
  • Follow Kids Club Operation Childcare Standards, Policies, procedures, and Health guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as requested by the Supervisor.

Qualifications

  • College Degree in General Education, Education, Early Childhood Education, Management, Communications, Teaching, Hospitality, and Tourism Management.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Good proficiency in the English language; additional language skills are an advantage.
  • Previous work experience in a similar capacity or Hospitality would be an advantage.
