Key Responsibilities

• Support the Sous Chef Pastry in overseeing daily operations across the pastry and bakery section.
• Supervise, schedule, and coordinate Chef de Partie and junior pastry staff.
• Check pastry quality, presentation, and consistency across the section during service.
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and cost management for the pastry section.
• Help enforce food safety, hygiene, and cleaning standards across the pastry section.
• Support recruitment, training, and performance feedback for pastry staff.
• Step in for the Sous Chef Pastry during their absence and support smooth daily service.
• Pastry or bakery diploma or degree required; further management or culinary training is a plus.
• At least 6 to 8 years of pastry or bakery experience, including time as a Senior Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; able to manage the pastry section under pressure.
