Job summary

VirtualWorks Hub in Al-Khor, Qatar, is seeking a Product Designer for a contract role. You will design and develop innovative products, create sketches, 3D models, and prototypes, collaborating with design, engineering and marketing.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor's in Industrial Design, has at least 2 years of product design experience, and is proficient in AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Visa sponsorship and accommodation are provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of Product Designer experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar programs.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the design team to develop new product concepts.
• Create sketches, 3D models, and prototypes of products.
• Conduct market research and stay updated on industry trends.
• Work with engineering and marketing to ensure feasible designs and alignment with goals.
• Present design concepts to stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct quality control checks on finished products before launch.
