Job summary

SafeHarbor Logistics in Ar-Ruwais, Qatar, is seeking an entry-level Petroleum Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with experienced engineers to assist in planning, designing and implementing projects related to petroleum extraction and production.

This role offers hands-on learning, exposure to drilling plans and production schedules, and opportunities for growth within the company while developing strong analytical and technical skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of the oil and gas industry.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in analyzing data and creating reports for the planning and development of oil and gas fields.
• Conduct research on new technologies and techniques for oil extraction.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design drilling plans and production schedules.
• Monitor drilling operations and make recommendations for improvements.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards.
• Provide on-site support during drilling operations as needed.
