Qualifications

Junior Petroleum Engineer - Lusail, Qatar

We are currently hiring a Junior Petroleum Engineer to join our team in Lusail, Qatar. As a Junior Petroleum Engineer, you will assist in the development and implementation of drilling plans and production strategies for oil and gas wells.

Responsibilities

• Conducting research and analysis to identify potential oil and gas reserves
• Creating drilling plans, including well design, location selection, and cost estimation
• Monitoring well performance and making adjustments as needed
• Collaborating with geologists and other technical experts to optimize production processes
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and environmental standards
• Assisting in the evaluation of new technologies and techniques for drilling and production
• Participating in field operations as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in the oil and gas industry preferred but not required for freshers
• Knowledge of drilling techniques, well completion methods, and reservoir engineering
