NextWave Publications is seeking a Junior Construction Manager to support planning and execution of various construction projects in Ar-Ruwais, United Arab Emirates. The role involves coordinating with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project objectives and ensure timely progress on-site.

The ideal candidate holds a Civil Engineering degree with at least two years of construction management experience, and fluent English. Arabic is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in construction management.
• Ability to read project plans and specifications.
• Strong English communication; Arabic is a plus.
• Willingness to work on-site at various locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and coordination of construction projects from start to finish.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site.
• Review project plans and specifications to identify potential issues or conflicts.
• Prepare progress reports for senior management.
• Manage project budget and schedule to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
• Communicate effectively with contractors, suppliers, and other team members.
