Job summary

Work corp in Al-Khor, Qatar, seeks a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. You will assist with general accounting tasks and maintain financial records for accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, month-end close support, and preparing financial reports. Fluency in English and strong attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in accounting or finance (preferred).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable duties
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Prepare bank deposits and reconcile bank statements
• Process expense reports and petty cash transactions
• Assist with month-end close procedures
• Create financial reports as needed
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager
