Job summary

Confidential in Doha is seeking an IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Specialist to strengthen our governance framework, manage IT-related risks, and ensure compliance with internal policies and industry standards.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Diploma in IT, 7+ years in IT GRC or IT audit, and relevant certifications (CISA/CRISC, COBIT 2019 Foundation). You will lead risk assessments, audits, and continuous improvement of IT controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in IT Governance, Risk Management, Compliance, or IT Audit.
• Certifications: CISA or CRISC; COBIT 2019 Foundation.
• Strong knowledge of IT governance frameworks, risk management methodologies, and IT control environments.
• Experience in IT audit management, policy development, and compliance monitoring.
• Familiarity with IT General Controls (ITGCs), including SOX-style control environments.
• Excellent analytical, documentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and enhance the IT governance framework, policies, procedures, and control library in alignment with COBIT.
• Conduct IT risk assessments, identify control gaps, and maintain the IT risk register.
• Coordinate IT audits, facilitate audit activities, and monitor the timely remediation of audit findings.
• Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and Company standards.
• Develop and maintain IT governance documentation, risk reports, and compliance assessments.
• Report IT governance, risk, and compliance matters to management and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Support continuous improvement of IT controls and governance practices.
