Job description

Looking for well experienced Laundry & Dry-Cleaning attendant.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Laundry Attendant located in Doha - Qatar. The Laundry Attendant will be responsible for ensuring all laundry is correctly sorted, washed, dried, and folded.

They will also need to perform regular equipment maintenance, assist with inventory control, and communicate effectively with other departments and guests to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in laundry services - Manual Pressing, Steam Pressing, Ironing in Steam table, Washing delicate dresses & Operate Dry-cleaning machine.
• Previous experience in Retail or Commercial Laundry is preferred handling guest laundry with all rounder exposure in all areas.
• Self-starters who can perform duties with minimum supervision.
• Attention to detail to ensure all laundry is properly sorted and cleaned.
• Ability to operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical demands of the job such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy laundry bags.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and experience in dry cleaning are preferred.
• Experience in handling delicate fabrics such as silk and lace is preferred.
• Decent communication abilities in multiple languages, with the ability to read and write in English.
• Experience cleaning CURTAINS, LEATHER JACKETS & BAGS, SHOES etc. will be given priority.
• Candidates from Nepal, Ghana, Sri Lanka, India are preferred in case of overseas recruitment.
